Thomas + Lisa {Engaged}

In the middle of October, I met with Thomas and Lisa at St. Mary's in Iowa City to begin their engagement session.  It was a beautiful fall evening, perfect for portraits.

April + Chris {Maternity}

Recently, I had the pleasure of capturing April and Chris' maternity session.  Three years ago, I photographed their beautiful wedding at A Touch of Class in Cedar Rapids, though honestly, it doesn't seem possible that it's been three years.  I'm so excited for them as they prepare to welcome their new, little baby boy.

Jay + Cindy {Wedding: Part 2}

Jay and Cindy's wedding was attended by close friends a family.  The sun was shining bright behind them, over the beautiful Mississippi River.  I love the moments of Cindy laughing with her dad as she awaited walking down the aisle.  You can see the joy on their faces.

Stuart + Marybeth {Wedding: Part 2}

The ceremony was held at the beautiful Washington Prairie Lutheran Church, just outside of Decorah.  I remember driving by there many times while I lived in Northeastern Iowa, but I had not had the opportunity to go in the church before.  It was lovely.

Jay + Cindy {Wedding: Part 1}

We began our day on the grounds of the beautiful Villa Louis in Prarie du Chein, Wisconsin.  Jay patiently awaited Cindy's arrival.  As she walked up the path to meet him for their first look, you could see the excitement on both of their faces.  Such a beautiful moment!

Mason, Bridgette, & Aidan

Mason and Bridgette added someone special to their recent engagement session, their adorable one year old, Aidan.  He was such a great little model during the session, a joy to work with.  Love how their family portraits turned out!

Stuart + Marybeth {Wedding: Part 1}

I began my day with Marybeth and her bridesmaids at the gorgeous Hotel Winnesheik in Decorah.  My assistant, Michael, began at the Dug Road Inn with Stuart and his groom's party as they got ready for the day.
