Jay and Cindy's wedding was attended by close friends a family. The sun was shining bright behind them, over the beautiful Mississippi River. I love the moments of Cindy laughing with her dad as she awaited walking down the aisle. You can see the joy on their faces.
After the ring exchange, Cindy and Jay chose to do a sand ceremony. The orange and blue of their wedding colors looked beautiful as they were poured into their vase.
After the ceremony, Jay and Cindy greeted their guests. After which, we all headed to their reception at The Barn, just north of Prairie du Chein. Their decor was lovely. I love the candle lit wine bottles.
On each table was a sign telling guests that in lieu of favors, Cindy and Jay were making donations to The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and Autism Speaks. I think it is wonderful when couples choose to donate to charity.
After the meal, we stole outside for a few portraits at sunset. The evening light on the hills to the east of The Barn was beautiful.
The dance began with Jay and Cindy's first dance as husband and wife. You could see the happiness on their faces as they danced in each other's arms. Beautiful!
Congratulations again to Cindy and Jay! Thank you for having Josh and myself as a part of your beautiful day. Also, a big thank you to my husband, Josh, for assisting me!
