We spend so much of our time plugged into a device; whether it’s a laptop, phone, tv, etc.  It is crucial we take time to unplug and be truly present in the moments that matter.

If you've been a client of mine, you know the business aspect of my studio is really not my favorite part.  I love interacting with my clients and capturing beautiful portraits.  However, the business side is something I have to keep in mind.

As a Limo and Bus service it's important to have staff that are knowledgeable and enthusiastic about people having fun. Be sure that the company that you're looking to book with actually owns their vehicles.  You're probably wondering how you'll go about this, and it's easier than you might think.  When you're calling around for quotes, ask companies if they show their vehicles.  If they don't, this should be a major red flag.  When companies don't own their vehicles, they give service to the highest bidder and leave everybody else in the dust without their deposit in hand.

Our Guide to Maternity Portraits

With the launch of the new website, I've been working hard creating helpful and beautiful client information packets.  I've created one for almost every aspect of photography I have the pleasure of working in: Maternity, Newborn, Seniors, Family, Weddings, and more about our new "Watch Me Grow" collection.

A New Look

It has been several weeks in the making, but finally my new website is live!  I'm so excited to have it done.  I've also given the blog and proofing galleries a facelift as well.  I love the new colors: white and gray with pops of teal and yellow.  I feel the new look is very clean, simple and classic.  My previous design was a little busier visually, and while I still like it, I felt it was time for a new approach.  While each facet of my studio (weddings, seniors, and families) each have still their own site, the look is more unified.

Engagement Season

If you've read much of my blog, you'll know I love weddings.  Weddings season usually starts in April and winds down again around the end of October.  It is always super busy, filled with beautiful couples and wonderful love stories.  As hectic as it can be at times, I enjoy every minute of it. 

A New Year Has Begun

Wow!  Are we really one week into 2015?  This year is off to a busy start around the office, as I have begun the large process of redesigning our website, blog, proof galleries, and so much more.  I'm pretty much spent all of the past few days glued to my monitor, designing away.  I'm really excited about the new look, unfortunately it will still be a while before I'm ready to launch everything.  I can't wait to share it with you!
