The Hotka Family

At the very beginning of November, I headed to Kent Park in Oxford for the Hotka family session.  It was a warm, bright afternoon and the leaves were gorgeous.

April + Chris {Maternity}

Recently, I had the pleasure of capturing April and Chris' maternity session.  Three years ago, I photographed their beautiful wedding at A Touch of Class in Cedar Rapids, though honestly, it doesn't seem possible that it's been three years.  I'm so excited for them as they prepare to welcome their new, little baby boy.  

Skylar {Cake Smash!}

To celebrate a baby's first birthday, often parents will schedule a cake smash session.  While it is a very messy session, it is so fun to see them smashing and playing with their birthday cake. 

Skylar {One Year Old}

Skylar came into the studio this past weekend to celebrate her first birthday with a portrait session and cake smash session.  It took her a little while to warm up to getting her portrait taken, but once she did we got some great shots of this lovely little lady. 

Ryan & Kelsey {Wedding}

Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of assisting Megan Klauer Photography in capturing this beautiful event.  The day began at Hotel Vetro in Iowa City, where both Kelsey and Ryan were getting ready.  I love all the beautiful natural light in Hotel Vetro.  It is a gorgeous location.
