Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of assisting Megan Klauer Photography in capturing this beautiful event. The day began at Hotel Vetro in Iowa City, where both Kelsey and Ryan were getting ready. I love all the beautiful natural light in Hotel Vetro. It is a gorgeous location.
Kelsey and Ryan chose not to see each other before the wedding. Their ceremony was held in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Iowa City and was beautiful. In attendance were close friends and family.
Following the ceremony, we headed to the Old Capital for some portraits with the bridal party. They were so much fun to work with.
Before heading back into Hotel Vetro to begin the reception, we headed up to the rooftop for a few more portraits before the celebration kicked off. The sun was beginning to sink in the sky and made for beautiful lighting.
During their first dance, Ryan and Kelsey brought their adorable little girl onto the dance floor with them. It was such a precious moment. You could truly see how much they loved each other and their little girl.
