The second weekend of August, I headed to Mason City for the wedding of Kenny and Erin. The day began with their first look on the steps just outside the church. You can see the joy on their faces as they saw each other for the first time. Simply beautiful!
Following the first look, we headed inside and out of the heat for the
formal portrait session. Unfortunately, I was a bit rusty on my knock
knock jokes, but still managed to get some smiles. Once, we finished in the sanctuary, we headed to a beautiful local park, just down the street from the church. I love this park! So many great locations for portraits.
We had a lot of fun with the guys on the playground!
On the edge of the park was a little bluff my assistant, Greg, climbed up to capture the portrait of the bridal party forming a heart. It took a little while to get set up, but it turned out great!
The ceremony was beautiful. You could feel the love in the room. It was attended by so many of Kenny and Erin's close friends and family. I especially love the happiness on Kenny and Erin as they walk back down the aisle as husband and wife.
