Riley + Erin {Wedding: Part 2}

After the portraits in the Ped Mall, we headed over to the University of Iowa Athletic Hall of Fame.  Can I just say, this is one of the most awesome locations I've shot at in a while.  The large windows in there are a photographer's dream.  Plus, it is just a nice, open venue.

The details Riley and Erin put together were stunning.  They had a craft beer theme for their decorations.  Each table was a different brand of craft beer instead of being numbered.  Each escort card was labeled with a bottle cap magnet with the brand of the table.  Not only was it a fun personal touch for them, it was also beautiful.  I love the artwork on the caps and packaging.

The evening was filled with great food, wonderful celebration, and beautiful toasts.

As the sun was setting, we stepped out of the reception for just a few moments to take advantage of the golden light.  Love these portraits!  The location was a little tricky, in that it was surrounded my main roads, sports fields, and parking lots.  However, we found the perfect spot with a background of trees.  I wish I'd have taken a pull-back shot, as we were genuinely standing between two parked cars as we took these images, but the final image is what counts.

As soon as we got back in after the sunset, the dancing began.  Erin and Riley's first dance together began with just the two of them on the dance floor.  About half way through the song, the bridal party was invited to come join them.

 It was a beautiful day!

Congratulation to Riley and Erin!  Best wishes to you both!  Also, a big thank you to Stacie Ricklefs for assisting me in capturing this beautiful day.
