Murdoc {Newborn}

 At the beginning of July, sweet, little Murdoc came into the studio for his newborn session.  He was only seven days old.  So tiny!  

 During the session, Murdoc was not too interested in sleeping.  Thankfully we had a couple brief windows in which he snuggled up and rested for a bit.

 I am so happy to finally get a chance to use the super adorable boat prop we have in the studio.  In preparation for Murdoc's session (knowing I'd get a chance to use the boat) I made a custom crocheted hat and diaper cover set.  Love the blue and white stripes!  Seriously, you cannot get much more adorable than this little sailor.

 Murdoc's daddy loves fishing, so I also worked on an adorable "gone fishin'" set up.  I was able to find some super cute wooden fish at Hobby Lobby and made a crocheted fishing hat.  It really was one of the most adorable sets I think I've ever used for newborn.  I think the portrait at the top of this post is my favorite from this session.

Look at these teeny, tiny toes!  Absolute perfection!!  I had so much fun photographing baby Murdoc.
