Brian + Maggie {Wedding: Part 2}

After the ceremony, we finished the formal portraits of Brian and Maggie at St. Mary's.  Once we completed the formal family portraits in the church, we headed to the Old Capitol for some fun portraits with the bridal party.  The weather was overcast and threatening rain, but thankfully the rain held off.

Brian and Maggie's bridal were great fun to work with.

Brian and Maggie were so easy to work with.  I love their interactions.  My favorite portraits are ones of couples being themselves, interacting, and being in the moment together.

Their reception was held at the Sheraton in Iowa City.  It is a beautiful location and within walking distance from St. Mary's.

I loved their rubber duck cake topper!

During the reception, I often take a few moments to photograph the rings.  I love Maggie's rings.  They have such a beautiful and intricate design with a vintage feel.

The toasts were beautiful, funny, and heartfelt.  You could feel the love in the room.

After the first dance, father-daughter, and mother-son dances, the dance floor was packed.

Brian and Maggie's wedding was truly a beautiful celebration of love with their close friends and family.  A perfect day.  Congratulations again to the newlyweds!

Thank you to Shuva Rahim for assisting me in capturing this wonderful event!
