Brian + Thea {Wedding: Part 1}

In April, I had the pleasure of photographing Brian and Thea's wedding.  We started our day as they were putting on their finishing touches at Zion Lutheran Church in Iowa City.  I love having the opportunity to capture some of the details before the couple gets dressed.  I adore Thea's choice of shoes. 
How cute are her gold sparkly sneakers?!  Tied to the laces of her left shoe was a beautiful blue heart pendant that was a special gift.  It was a wonderful something blue that had so much importance for her.

Thea's mother and father walked her down the aisle.  Her father, a Luther pastor, officiated the ceremony.  It added such a beautiful personal touch to the day.
