In April, I headed to Camp Wyoming in Wyoming, Iowa for Jay and Cindy's engagement session. Years before, Camp Wyoming was where this beautiful couple first met and their love story began. I love having the opportunity to capture portraits for couples in locations that are special to them. It makes the portraits even more special and meaningful.
We started the session, by heading down a path in the woods that lead to a wooden bridge that lead across a stream to a small cave. As we went, there were so many beautiful places to stop for portraits.
Unfortunately, as caves are like to do, there was too little light to go into the cave for portraits, but the large stone in front of it made a great location to use the cave as the background. Cindy was quite happy to have the cave be a part of their portraits.
Be sure to check back again soon for more from Jay and Cindy's engagement!
