Fall Mini Sessions Are Coming!

Hard to believe the summer is winding to a close.  The kids are packing up their backpacks and the school year is about to begin.  It is once again the time of year to start thinking of family portraits.  This year, I'm doing my mini-sessions a little differently.  Instead of one weekend, I'm running a mini-session special for two months!  These great prices will be available from September 1 - October 31.  There is limited availability for these sessions, so be sure to book yours soon. 

Each session will be 30 minutes at a location of your choice within 15 miles of the studio.  

Around the Studio This Week

This week is a busy week of editing in the studio.  Remodeling is on hold while weddings are in full swing.  Last weekend's West Des Moines wedding of Ryan and Peter (one of their engagement portraits is showcased above!) was so much fun.  I'm loving the images we created while we were there.  This weekend's Clear Lake wedding will be beautiful as well.  Can't wait!

An Update {Remodeling}

Happy Friday!  As I sit here at my desk, I am loving my freshly painted ceiling and new wall color.  Painting has still been the name of the game lately.  Though, I think I'm finally done with that portion of this whole project.  Yay!  Next on the list is trim.  Hopefully, this weekend I'll be able to enlist some help installing the ceiling trim in the studio.  Then, it'll be on to finishing up the stairs and hanging the new doors for the interior entrance to the studio.  I cannot wait to get those hung!!

Despite the fact there is snow still on the ground, I'm thinking Spring.  What better way to get ready for Spring than by announcing our Spring Mini-Session dates?  Mark your calendars for April 25 and 26 and be sure to contact us soon to reserve your spot.  The Mini-Sessions will be 30 minute outdoor sessions, include 10 downloadable digital files, and an online gallery.  This would make an excellent Mother's Day present to the important women in your lives.

Senior Models 2015

 

It's that time of year again.  Crazily enough, junior year is over half way through and it's time to start thinking about senior portraits.  We are looking for some energetic and outgoing students from the class of 2015 to be our newest Senior Models.  This is an amazing opportunity to not only earn free great products, but also the be the trend setter for your graduating class.  Check out more about our Senior Model Program here!

Leave a comment telling your love story and why you deserve to win. I will select ten entries to enter the final vote on March 6th. Once the finalists are selected, the voting will begin. Finalists will be announced on March 7th, so be sure to check back!

* We are willing to travel anywhere, however travel fees may be applicable to weddings more than 200 miles from the Iowa City area. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
* Stories must be submitted by 11:59PM Central on March 5. Any submission after the deadline will be disqualified.
* The finalists' stories and a picture will be posted on our Facebook page. Your friends, families, coworkers, and other loved ones can vote by clicking "Like." This is to ensure there are not repeated votes. Voting will end March 19th and the winners announced on March 20th.
