Recently, I met up with Mason and Bridgette at City Park in Iowa City for their engagement session. It was a beautiful evening and I had such a wonderful time working with them both. We started the session over by the Shakespeare theater, then headed to the area by my most favorite tree ever, the willow tree by the river.
I seriously love this tree in the evening light. In past years the area around the willow tree has been well maintained. Unfortunately, this year it seems that it has been removed from the mowing area at City Park. So it took a little trekking through weeds to get to it, but it was totally worth it. Thankfully Mason and Bridgette were troopers and went along with me.
The second half of our session was at the area around the IMU. I love the old Row House. The colors in the metal went so well with the colors in Mason and Bridgette's outfits. I love the series of them interacting along the Row House east wall.
To end the session, the evening light over the IMU bridge was a perfect setting. I love their portraits on the bridge!
I had such a great time with Mason and Bridgette. They were so relaxed and easy to work with. I cannot wait for their wedding this November!
