Meet Kaeyln! I had the pleasure of photographing this sweet little one when she was only 6 days old. Such a tiny little one! Kaelyn was an absolutely wonderful, sleepy baby. I had so much fun posing her and creating these portraits. I love the image of her with the lace crown! Her little smirk truly sends it over the top for cuteness!
During the session, I used many props from my stash. I love the flowers I have from Elle-Mirai. They were a perfect accent for this beautiful girl, simple and elegant. I was also able to bring out several of my knitted/crochet creations. Have I ever mentioned how much I love newborn sessions?!
One of my favorite parts of newborn sessions, is capturing images of the new family interacting together. Really, these are the moments the children will look back on and see just how much they are loved and cherished. I think these moments are so powerful in black and white.
Kaelyn's father is and avid hunter and wanted to include some of his deer antlers in the session. I think it turned out beautifully and adds that extra special touch to the images. A true reflection of their family. Their rings on the antler was a beautiful addition.
