The Frey Family

In early December, I met up with the Frey family at the Coralville Marriott for their family portrait session.  The Marriott was decorated beautifully for Christmas and the colors worked so well for our session.  I love, love, love all the wonderful natural light that can be found in the Marriott.  It beautifully lit our session.

I love being able to go out to locations like this during the cold months as a change of pace from the studio.  It's nice to have such beautiful places like the Marriott close by so we can stay in from the cold, but have a wonderful setting.

I have known the Frey family since their very beginnings.  I have been good friends with them since high school.  I have had the honor and privilege of capturing portraits of their family and children throughout the years and it's been so fun to watch their family grow.  I am so blessed to be able to do this with many families.  I love chronicling families, as I feel family portraits are so important.  To read more on why I love family portraits check out my post from this past fall: Autumn & Family.
