Last summer, I headed to Cedar Falls to assist Greg Frieden Photography with the wedding of Shawna and Patrick. They were a beautiful couple and a pleasure to work with. After the wedding, we headed to downtown Cedar Falls for some formal portraits. Despite a little drizzle, we got some beautiful shots.
Their reception was held at the UNI Commons Ballroom. This location is quite possibly my favorite venue to date. The hall is filled with beautiful natural light and has stunning architecture, an all around beautiful setting. So often, reception halls are dark, which can create a beautiful ambiance, but it is so lovely to have the hall illuminated by soft natural light. Love it!
