Ben & Jess {Wedding}

On July 7th, I headed to Marion to capture Ben & Jess's big day.  We began the day at First United Methodist with formal photos of Ben with his guys and family.  Then we photographed Jess with her girls and family.  They chose not to see each other before the wedding, so to make things run a little smoother following the ceremony we utilized our time by photographing many of the portraits beforehand.

The ceremony was beautiful, then we headed to the nearby golf course for some fun photos of the bride and groom, as well as the bridal party.  Unfortunately, we had to work quickly due to the heat, but we were able to get some fun and beautiful shots while we were there.

Their day ended with their reception at the Cedar Rapids Marriott.  It is a beautiful location.  We photographed a few more photos of Ben and Jess around the lobby area and in the little dining area near there.  I love the shots of the them sitting at the table talking together and the ones of them in the elevator.  Something fun and different.
