Yesterday I photographed Trinty and her parents' Christmas portraits. Trinity's mother was born a little before Christmas and was sent home from the hospital in a special stocking in honor of the season. Thankfully it was kept safe through the years and we were able to get Trinity's picture in it. A very special moment! It was great fun working with this blue eyed beauty. She sure is a cutie!

The busy years to come
2011 is already getting some serious interest. I already have met with a few brides and have a few on the calendar. It seems like brides are taking more time to plan their weddings, which is a wonderful thing. Take your time, enjoy the process. Plus booking early locks you in at lower rates. Prices tend to change due to many factors and usually these factors do not bring about a decrease, so it’s really smart to book your vendors and venues early. But make sure you are booking someone you have faith in and want to work with. Don’t let price be the deciding factor.
Back on point, things are filling up quickly. The fall of 2010 is almost full already. There still remain a few spring and summer dates, but as the winter goes on fewer and fewer dates will be available. If you’re interested in wedding photography, I’d recommend contacting Geno Photography soon or the date might be filled.
I’d like to take a moment and thank all of our wonderful couples we’ve worked with this year! Every photographer says they have the best clients, but that’s only because they haven’t worked with you and don’t know any better. :) To all my brides and grooms for 2010 and 2011, I am so looking forward to working with you all! You are all amazing!!

Elida's Pilates Studio
Elida {Maternity}
While in Decorah this past weekend, I spent my Saturday afternoon with the lovely Elida and her husband Nick. They are due with their seventh boy this next week. Very exciting! We had a great maternity session and got so many wonderful shots that it was hard to pick which ones to share here. These are only a fraction on the photos we took on Saturday. Simply gorgeous!
The 322 EN BN Dining Out
This weekend I accompanied my husband to Decorah for his third annual Dining Out, a formal military dinner, for his Army Reserves unit. As I have in the past, I brought along my studio set up and took formal pictures of the soldiers and their guests during throughout the night. It was a wonderful time. Here are a few of the soldiers:
And of course me with my soldier. :)

Adam
This evening I had a great senior portrait session with Adam. He's a senior at Williamsburg and we started our session at the Williamsburg High School football field. Unfortunately, it gets dark quickly so we will have to finish our outdoor session on Sunday. But we did get some studio shots in after the sun went down. Adam was a lot of fun to work with.
