Here we are, the year is slowly winding to a close. It is a time to remember the year that has come and gone and to look ahead to the year that lies before us. As I reflect on 2015, I cannot help but smile. 2015 has been an amazing year for Geno Photography!
I am truly blessed to have such amazing clients. They are what makes my job so great. I have had the opportunity to meet many great couples and photograph weddings all over the state and out of state as well. I have had the pleasure of snuggling and photographing many sweet newborns. I have gotten to capture special moments in the lives of many families. It has been a very blessed year.
As I look to the new year, I am filled with excitement at all the wonderful experiences yet to come. Already, my calendar is filling and I have been meeting so many lovely couples, whose weddings I am greatly looking forward to capturing. 2016 will be another wonderful year I am sure.
Thank you to all my clients for allowing me the honor of being a part of your lives as I capture your milestones! I am truly blessed.

A Wonderful Year
It's hard to believe 2014 is winding to a close. A year full of tiny newborns, beautiful seniors, loving families, and gorgeous weddings has come and gone. My schedule has been filled with amazing sessions and events. I have had the pleasure of photographing weddings all over the state of Iowa, including Des Moines, Mason City, and Dubuque. I think this year has been one of my absolute favorites.

Busy Year
If you follow my Facebook, you will have seen that I've been having a wonderfully busy year. I love it! The downside though, is that my blog has been neglected. It is my hope to get everything up to date over then next few weeks and try to keep up for the rest of the year.
I am so blessed to work with and photograph so many amazing people and I cannot wait to share their photos and stories here. My husband asked me an interesting question he'd heard asked by a speaker on the radio the other day. He asked, "If risk of failure were not an issue, what would you be doing with your life?" I thought to myself for a moment and drew a total blank on anything I'd rather be doing with my life. I love my job. I love having a wonderful outlet for my creativity that also allows me to share in and create joy for others. There is truly nothing else in the world I'd rather be doing.
Thank you to all of my amazing clients for allowing me to share in such momentous occasions in their lives as their weddings, allowing me to capture the faces of their beautiful and precious children, and allowing me to be part of their lives. As I said before, I am truly blessed!
