Alexis + Emma {Mother-Daughter}

As a mother myself, I adore mother-child sessions.  Not only are the portraits something moms treasure, they are something the children will treasure in years to come.  Truly a precious keepsake.  So I was delighted when Alexis contacted me to schedule a mother-daughter session with her sweet little girl, Emma.

Brandon & Emily {Wedding: Part 2}

After the formal portraits finished, Brandon and Emily's ceremony began.  It was held in the River Room at the Grand Harbor Hotel in Dubuque.  It was simply stunning.  The large glass walls overlooked the river and the whole room was filled with the afternoon light.

 At the end of September, I had the pleasure of traveling to Dubuque for the wedding of Brandon and Emily.  It was a beautiful, warm fall day.  My assistant, Greg, and I arrived shortly after lunch to begin photographing Emily as she got ready for her big day.

Emma {4 Years Old}

 

 
This little ray of sunshine is the adorable Miss Emma.  I recently headed to Dubuque to capture her portraits.  She was such a good little model, the most cooperative four year old I've ever posed.  She loved getting dressed up for the pictures and was a little disappointed when we were done with the session.  So cute!
