After we wandered downtown Iowa City, we headed down to the buildings by the IMU. I love the textures and tones in the copper wall. So beautiful!
Naturally, we headed over the the chemistry building where Brain spends much of his time. I love the architecture. Also, "chemistry," while being an important part of their lives, is also such a fun play on words in regards to their relationship and the chemistry they share. So fun!
While the alleys in the Ped Mall are not the ideal hangout spots in the area, they do have some great locations for portraits. In a narrow alley, the afternoon light was shining in along a whitewashed wall. I love the drama of the black and white image of them in that alley.
I'm looking forward to capturing Brian and Maggie's wedding later this month.
