At the beginning of October, I met with the Bottorff family at the University of Iowa Art building for their mini-session. I had never photographed in this are prior to their session. I'm so glad they introduced me to it!
The pond behind the red steps reflected a beautiful blue-green and made for a stunning backdrop. The building itself had gorgeous rust toned walls and a beautiful deck. It was a great setting for their portraits.
It has been a couple of years since I had the pleasure of
capturing the Bottorff family. It is amazing how much their children
have grown. I love being able to chronicle a family as it changes
through the years. I really feel that family portraits are so special.
Kids grow to quickly and life stays so busy, it's important to set
aside time to capture this moment so you can look back and treasure it
forever.
