This past summer, I met up with Greg Frieden from Greg Frieden Photography in Amana and again in Wellman to capture some new portraits of him for his website. Amana was such a fun location to photograph in. We began by the lily pond which was simply beautiful, as was the pompous grass along the road side just opposite the pond. Then we headed to the downtown Amana area. The buildings there were simply gorgeous. I love the rustic bricks.
During our session in Wellman, we began shooting during blue hour, which is the hour following sunset, and shot most of the session after dark. It was a lot of fun playing with the ambient light, which came from the street lights downtown. I always love the chance to do something a little different.
