On New Years Eve, I spent a wonderful day capturing the wedding of Sam & Bryana. They were married in the newly built Congregational church north of Cedar Rapids. It had a huge window on the back wall, that filled that area with beautiful natural light. We took most of the formal portraits there.
After the ceremony, we took a minute after their grand exit to take some gorgeous shots of the couple in front of the sunset. Despite being December 31st, it was 50* outside. Unfortunately that meant none of the snow Bryana had hoped for was present, but at least she didn't freeze when we took the outdoor photos.
Their reception was held at the Cedar Rapids Marriott, where we set up a photo booth for added fun for the guests. Photo booths are really a fun way to give added entertainment to guests. Our photo booths include a custom designed 8x10 book of all the images, which creates a wonderful keepsake for the couple.
