Justin & Christy {Newlyweds}

Last Friday I spent an amazing afternoon and evening with Justin & Christy and their families. They had a small, intimate ceremony at the Coralville Marriott. It was simply beautiful! The weather was lovely, the people were wonderful, and it was an amazing time.

I'm not quite finished editing their photos yet, but I couldn't wait to share what I've edited so far!

April {Senior}

This past Wednesday, I had a fantastic Ultimate Senior Session with April. We played around in the studio, then headed to the Wellman park and North English pool for some fun outdoor shots. April has been a lifeguard at the country club pool in North English for 3 years, so it was a great spot to capture her personality. At the very end of our session, she donned her winter formal dress and hopped in the pool. It was so much fun and made for some amazing pictures! I'd definitely recommend a "drown the gown" session to all the seniors out there.

Peyton: 3 Months Old

Today, once again, the sweet little bundle of joy that is Peyton graced my studio. I last photographed her when she was only 2 weeks old, just and itty bitty peanut. My how she's grown! I have to say I've totally fallen in love with her big blue eyes. Simply gorgeous! I am definitely looking forward to her 6 month session. It will be so fun to see how much she's changed.

The Houdek Family

I was in Decorah this past weekend and had a fun session with the Houdek family at the Decorah Fish Hatchery. They were a great family to work with and the location really made me miss north-east Iowa.

Isabelle & Vanessa

I once again had the pleasure of photographing Isabelle & Vanessa. It is always so much fun to see how they've grown. I've been taking Isabelle's pictures since she was three months old! Here we are, over three years later and I am still lucky enough to capture her beautiful smiles.

Drew & Shawna {Engaged}

Yesterday afternoon I met up with Drew and Shawna for their engagement session. We braved the heat and humidity and went around downtown Iowa City. Hopefully cooler weather will have made it's way to Iowa for their October wedding.

Lucy & Daisy

This morning I had a family with two sweet little girls filling my studio with giggles and energy. I've been photographing Lucy & Daisy (and the rest of their family) for over a year now. It is wonderful to see how much they've grown each time they come back. They are a joy to work with. I look forward to photographing them for many years to come.

Justin & Christy {Engaged}

I had a wonderful time with Justin and Christy during their engagement session last Tuesday. We got some amazing shots at the Old Capital, the IMU Bridge, and around the Ped Mall. They were a lot of fun to work with. I cannot wait for their wedding this August. It should be a great time!

Alessandra

Last Sunday, I had the sweet little bundle of joy that is Alessandra in my studio. Joining her was her "twin" cousin. They were born the same day. What a special family bond! They were just a joy to work with and so adorable. It was a pleasure getting to meet them and take their photos!

AJ & Talia {Wedding}

On the last Friday of June, I had the pleasure of sharing in AJ and Talia's big day. Their wedding was beautiful! The ceremony was at Gazebo on the Green in Iowa City, which is where we took all of their formal portraits. Their reception was in the press box at Kinnick Stadium.
