Vintage, Love, Rentals, & annessi

This afternoon, I had the pleasure of meeting up again with a good friend of mine, Cynthia Betts of Vintage, Love, Rentals, & annessi while I was in the Des Moines area for an engagement session.  Not only was it wonderful to get a chance to chat and catch up, this was the first time I'd been able to check out their store.  Love it!!  So glad I had my camera with me!

Vintage Romance {Styled Shoot}

I love, love, love how this styled shoot turned out.  The inspiration was vintage romance.  The colors were Tiffany blue, pale pink, ivory, and gold.  The outcome: GORGEOUS!  Not only were our models stunning in their beautiful gowns and tux, but the decor was amazing.  I expected nothing less though from wedding coordinator extraordinaire, Cynthia Betts of Special Events in Des Moines, and her amazing assistant, Peri Baldwin.  Their vision brought to life a stunning sweetheart table, sweets table, a truly unique escort card table, and an amazing outdoor lounge.

Spring Inspiration

As you know, I adore the designs of Cynthia Betts. She is truly a visionary in the world of weddings. Her designs capture beauty and elegance in amazing ways. She has two table designs currently at Zephyr Weddings in Coralville. I had the privilege of photographing them for her while I was there taking pictures for Zephyr.

Iowa Memorial Union Bridal Event

This past Sunday, I had the privilege of meeting so many amazing brides and grooms at the Weddings in Iowa Preferred Vendor Show at the Iowa Memorial Union. The turn out was wonderful. I always have so much fun visiting with the brides and grooms. We had a lot of entries for our door prizes and many entered our Amazing Wedding Giveaway! I can't wait to see how the voting goes in March and look forward to working with the winning couple!! At the end of the event, there was a gorgeous runway fashion show. The dresses were fantastic and the guys were rocking their tuxes. It's always so much fun to see the different styles. I was asked by Cynthia Betts, wedding coordinator extraordinaire (seriously, if you need a coordinator/planner she is THE one to go to, your wedding will be beyond fabulous with her designs!), to photograph the event.
