At the end of March, I had the pleasure of having Emily and Jason in the studio for their engagement session. They were great to work with. I had a lot of fun using my new sequin backdrop during their session. The bold colors in their outfits seemed a perfect fit with the sparkles.
We got a few family portraits during the session as well with Emily's handsome little guy. He wasn't too interested in getting his portrait taken at first, but he sure warmed up. Such a sweet smile!
I loved the 40s flair some of their outfits had. I think one of my favorite shots from their session was the shot below of them on the chair.
After the studio, we headed out to Wellman's North Park for a few outdoor portraits. I love the band shell there. It is such a beautiful neutral background with gorgeous, even natural light. I adore the portrait of them giving her son a swing. You can see the joy on their faces. Perfection!
There weren't many leaves out yet, but the evergreens made a beautiful pop of color in the background. It was fun working with Jason and Emily. They are so natural together and relaxed. Lots of laughs were had during their session. I couldn't ask for anything better.
