Evelyn {Newborn: Part 1}

I love newborn sessions.  I truly do.  Newborns are the definition of all that is wonderful in the world.  They are so tiny and perfect, with teeny-tiny fingers and toes, dainty eyelashes, and sweet sleepy smiles.

Little Miss Evelyn was such a joy to photograph.  At fourteen days old, she was a little more alert during the beginning of the session, but after a little time and a full tummy, she slept wonderfully through the rest of her session.

I love the soft pink chiffon flower and gray lace wrap combination on this beautiful little girl.

There are many St. Louis fans in the family, so they brought along a sweet crocheted baseball hat for her to wear.  I love personal touches like this!

The beautiful banner in the background of the image above is the banner that was hung at Evelyn's mother's baby shower.  It was just perfect for her newborn session.

Oh my!  How sweet, sleepy newborn smiles melt my heart!  Love, love, love the expression on Evelyn's face!
Check back later for the second part of Evelyn's newborn session.
