I would like to take a moment to thank all the brides and grooms who came out to the IMU Bridal Event hosted by Weddings In Iowa this past Sunday. I talked to so many beautiful brides who sounded so excited as they worked on planning their big day. I know I've said it before many times, but it is SO true: I love my job!
I am constantly surrounded by love, beauty, and romance. I adore hearing brides gush about their wedding dresses and all the details they have planned for their wedding day. I love even more, being invited into their lives to capture all of the amazing details of their day and, more importantly, capturing the amazing friends and family who surround them and support them. That my friends is the most beautiful part of my job: capturing the moments. From moments between a father and daughter as he walks her down the aisle, the quiet stolen moments between a bride and groom as they whisper how much they love each other, the laughter and hugs of a group of college friends reunited, the tears on a mother's face as she sees her little girl all dressed up in her bridal gown, and the countless other breathtaking moments that fill a wedding day.
So, thank you again to everyone who came out and took time to tell me more about your amazing wedding. Also, a big congratulations to our door prize winners! We hope to see you in the studio soon!
