Ryan & Kayla {Engaged}

Ryan and Kayla were so much fun to photograph during their recent engagement session.  We started our session at a new location I've been dying to try, the University of Iowa Levitt Center.  Seriously, this location is gorgeous; so much natural light and beautiful architectural details.  Love it.  The best thing is, since it's a very white location, the beauty of it doesn't distract for the subject of the photograph.  Ryan and Kayla had so many great interactions and were naturals in front of the camera.  It made my job so easy and fun.

After the Levitt Center, we headed to the Coralville Marriott, another gorgeous location.  It was freezing out, beyond freezing really with wind chills of -15*, brrrr!  But Ryan and Kayla were total troopers and toughed out the cold for some beautiful outdoor pictures.  I was lucky, being behind the camera I got to wear my nice warm coat and hat while they shivered.  Seriously, they were amazing!

I am so looking forward to their wedding later this year.  It should be a blast!
