Ok, so I love, love, love pompous grass in the fall, especially in the evening sun. This year I finally got my kiddos dressed up and headed out to a spot just outside of Wellman to take some portraits. I am absolutely in love with the results. L & G had so much fun dancing in their tutus during the session, so despite the slight chill in the air (don't worry they had coats and a nice warm car to sit in just a few feet away) they had a blast.
It was about 4:30 in the afternoon and the sun was behind them, giving a gorgeous glow to the pompous grass and adding a warm rim light to their hair. Did I mention that I'm loving these? I am hoping next year to schedule mini sessions in the fall to take advantage of the setting again. I think it will be a lot of fun.
