Hard to believe this little guy is one already. He is such a sweetie and I love having him in the studio. I loved his little hat. Glad he left it on!

Sweet Siblings

Yesterday, I had Mieka and her little brother, Henry, in the studio for a portrait session. They had a lot of fun, though Henry was done and ready to run after about the first five minutes. Thankfully in those five minutes we got some absolutely adorable shots of these sweet siblings. Mieka was a far better sport and did excellently during her solo session. We couldn't convince Henry to come back and sit for longer than about 15 seconds, but the photos turned our great despite his urge to go explore. :)

Growing So Quickly

It is so hard to believe the little peanut I photographed what seems like yesterday is already nine months old! Peyton get even more adorable with each visit to the studio. Her blue eyes just melt my heart. So sweet! She seemed to enjoy her session a bit more this time and did a great job. I'm sure the time will fly until her one year session.

An Adorable Little Guy

On Saturday morning, I had Tanner and his family in my studio for his six month portraits. He was just fascinated by everything in the studio. It was so cute to watch him checking everything out. Unfortunately, that meant he was a bit distracted during the photos, but we still got some great shots.

Godspeed 322nd EN CO

This past weekend, families and friends of the 322nd EN CO, myself and my girls included, gathered to wish our soldiers farewell as they leave for active duty. I had the honor of taking their unit photo shortly before the send off ceremony at Luther College's CFL on Friday. We are all praying for a swift and safe return for all of our soldiers.

Happy 2011 to everyone!

I am so excited for this year! It is shaping up to be our busiest year yet. We have so many weddings booked already, that spaces are VERY limited. If you're thinking about booking us for your big day, set up your consultation soon!

Photo booths are a great activity for reception guests and create an awesome photo "guest book" for you. We have gotten so many comments from wedding guests, as well as brides and grooms, about how much fun they had with the photo booth!

Lilly {9 Months Old}

Once again, the sweet little Lilly joined me in my studio this afternoon. Honestly, it doesn't get much more adorable than her sweet little face and bright eyes. Now that she's crawling, she wasn't very interested in staying put for photos. Especially not when there is a whole studio to explore and an older sister to chase! Thankfully, with the help of a cuddly teddy bear we got some great smiles and adorable shots.
