Gavin {4 Weeks Old}

My week has been filled with amazing little ones. On Thursday I photographed the little guy that is Gavin. Gavin did a great job putting up with us moving him around and even managed to snuggle up and sleep for a few photos. Simple gorgeous!

Devin Lee {6 Weeks Old}

On Wednesday afternoon I met up with this little guy's family. He did a great job with photos, quite the little model. I photographed him once before, but at that time he was still in his mommy's tummy. It's so fun to be part of my client's lives and share in their joy. What a wonderful job I have!

The Gundersons

I also had the pleasure of photographing Emma's family on Tuesday. She and her mommy and daddy live out in Colorado, so they took advantage of their time together to capture some formal family portraits.

Emma

This past Tuesday I had the chance to meet Emma. She is a sweet little 5 1/2 month old girl, with gorgeous eyes and a lovely smile. It took Emma quite a while to warm up to pictures, but in the end we got some wonderful photos.

Jared & Jaci

Today I braved the heat with Jared and Jaci for their engagement session. Mother Nature was not particularly cooperative with the humid 90* day with wind and bright sun, but we ended the afternoon with some amazing pictures. We started our session down by the Iowa River Power Restaurant on the gorgeous bridge they have. Thankfully a few clouds managed to find their way in front of the sun during our time there. Then we headed down to the Old Capital and Ped Mall.

Travis & Erin {Engaged}

Today I hit up the Ped Mall, the Old Capital, and the IMU Bride with Travis and Erin for their engagement session. We had a lot of fun walking around downtown Iowa City and getting some great shots. We even managed to get their black lab to cooperate for a few!

Peyton: 2 Weeks Old

Yesterday I had the sweetest little newborn girl in my studio. Little Miss Peyton was a little unsure of the flashes, but she did wonderfully. Such a tiny little one! I look forward to chronicling her life over the course of the year and watching how she grows. It is truly a blessing to be able to be witness and capture such amazing moments and be part of people's lives. I truly adore my job!

Shawn {Trash The Dress}

Yesterday I headed up to the Coralville Lake to meet up with the beautiful Shawn. We had a great time playing around in the water, hanging out on the beach, strolling through the woods and getting some amazing shots along the way.

AJ & Talia {Engaged}

Yesterday, I spent the afternoon with the gorgeous couple that is AJ & Talia. They were wonderful to work with, very fun and energetic. We started our afternoon in the studio. Then headed out to their home to get some pictures with their fur-babies, 2 corgis and a jack russel terrier. Finally we went out near Brown Deer Golf Course to a great bridge for some fun outdoor shots.

Maryann & Lillian

The sweet little Maryann was back in my studio today. Joining her was her new baby sister, Lillian. Such beautiful little girls! They were a lot of fun to work with. Lillian was content to nap through most of the session and Maryann had fun playing in the studio. I'm looking forward to this fall, when we'll have our next session together.
