Why Hire a Professional: Digital Editing

I posted in my "Planning the Perfect Wedding" series about why you should hire a professional. I thought I'd share some examples of the digital editing aspect of it. When you hire a professional, you are hiring someone who can make your photos amazing. I never give my clients an image straight off my memory card. At the very least, I enhance every image by adding a color boost to create a vivid and vibrant image and sharpen every image to give it a crisp, clean look. For portraits I add additional fine-tuning to make the image truly wonderful. With digital photography, there are so many possibilities for images, they can remain in color, given vintage effect, given texture, made into black and white. The possibilities are only limited by your photographer's imagination.
