Patrick & Brittany {Newlyweds}

On August 20, I spent and amazing day with Patrick and Brittany. I started out my day at the salon with the bride and her maids as they got their hair done. Then it was off to the church. Their wedding was held in Washington at First Baptist Church. They were so much fun to work with. We did a combination of alter shots and outdoor pictures around downtown Washington. We found a little alley way, just a block over from the church, that was a perfect spot for pictures. I love the bridal party pictures there. They were a blast to work with.

Their ceremony was beautiful. The church has so many stained glass windows, three of the four wall in the sanctuary had them. They allowed in so much gorgeous light. I loved the classic cars they drove as they left the church! The GTO has been a project of the groom's for a while. I think we got some awesome shots with it at Sunset Park on our way to the reception.

They chose to do a photo booth at the reception. All of the guests had so much fun with it! There was never a dull moment. I definitely recommend couples consider having one. It is an amazing thing for guests to have fun with and makes for some great additional photo memories for the couple. All of the images from the booth are designed into a softcover coffee table book for the couple. Such an wonderful keepsake to remember all the friends and family who helped you celebrate your wedding. Patrick and Brittany chose a damask background, which fit perfectly with their wedding.

Thank you Patrick and Brittany for allowing us to capture your beautiful and and congratulations!
